Benjamin Walker has been experimenting with sound and music ever since childhood. Picking up his first instruments at age eight and formally entering the music industry as Subtact at age sixteen, he quickly found his footing in the world of electronic music. During 2015 he was thrust into the spotlight by independent EDM networks such as Seeking Blue, Monstercat, and NCS, as the blossoming new sound of Future Bass had inadvertently been given a gentle nudge forward thanks to the unique hybrid of genres he was blending together.


This evolution didn’t stop here, as the Subtact sound continued to double down in maturity and intensity over subsequent releases. Fast forward a couple of years and Benjamin’s work has expanded into a wealth of different genres and influences, as well as accolades and achievements. His aforementioned bass music has been prominently featured in AAA media such as Cartoon Network, Forza, Rocket League, and is routinely played in live arena events such as E3. Despite the immense success afforded to his career so far, Subtact shows no intent to slow down or change course. A uniquely skilled songwriter, sound designer, and music producer on all fronts, he continues to show the world what sonic experiences he has to offer.
